XCMG XGC16000 Crawler Crane Hoists Wind Turbine

April 27, 2015
Recently, XCMG XGC16000 crawler crane successfully completed the mission of hoisting a 6MW wind turbine at a large-scale wharf of Jiangsu Province. As one of China’s few sample machines, this 6MW wind turbine has blades with length of 77.7 meters, reputed as the largest blades in China.

According to the on-site hoisting demands, XCMG XGC16000 employed the “sideway-superlift” working condition (72m boom plus 60m tower jib) to successfully hoist the 190 tons of blade and hub in place, marking that XCMG XGC16000 has taken a firm step forwards after it made inroads into the large-scale wind power field.
