China-made Equipment Appeared Frequently in Major Overseas Projects: XCMG QAY220 Participated in Subway Construction of Sao Paulo, Brazil

July 31, 2014
GTLOC, one of XCMG’s largest crane customers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, purchased one all-terrain crane QAY220 in June 2014. After professional debugging and system testing, the crane was officially delivered at the end of June.

The equipment made its debut in the subway construction of Sao Paulo, which was a great challenge for it. Through continuous efforts with GTLOC, XCMG put forward a package program including instructions for use and after-sales service, and finally received the recognition from the main contractor of the subway project (Brazil’s largest engineering and construction contractor), which enabled it to participate in major projects of the contractor as the first Chinese brand.

XCMG Crane QAY220 has been following the legacy of XCMG brands. On the first day upon arriving at the construction site, it worked day and night and overcame all the difficulties, and finally completed the project successfully. Along the way from debut in Brazilian market to participating in major Brazilian projects, XCMG All-terrain Crane QAY220, a representative of state-of-the-art technologies of Chinese brands, competes with European and American high-end brands and has frequently appeared in the capital construction of Brazil. QAY220 has laid a solid foundation for XCMG heavy-duty cranes to fully get into the Brazilian market.
