Customization: A New Type of Loader Clamp Developed

Recently, XCMG Earth-moving Machinery Sector successfully developed a new type of loader clamp which never appeared in Chinese market to satisfy the customized requirements of a customer. The equipment was well received by the customer.
Different from the ordinary clamps, the clamping diameter of this clamp is twice that of ordinary clamp with more compact structure. By employing the new structure in innovation, it raises the vertical height of the clamp body to shorten the distance between the hinge point and the front end, making it feasible to double the clamping diameter. While increasing the radian of upper and lower clamp bodies, the clamp cylinder also takes an innovative arrangement. The ordinary longitudinal arrangement is replaced by the horizontal arrangement at the top. The XCMG R&D team stimulated actual working conditions through PROE 3D Modeling and CAE finite element analysis and revised the design accordingly repeatedly. Finally the clamping diameter met the customer’s requirements. The successful development of the new loader clamp marks further enhancement of XCMG’s R&D strength, offering momentum to the internationalization of XCMG.
