The World’s Largest-tonnage Truck Crane being Exported to South America in Batch

July 05, 2012
According to the journalist, over a hundred XCMG large-tonnage truck cranes were fully equipped and ready for delivery at Lianyungang Port on June 20th, which created a rather spectacular scene. The relevant responsible person said that this batch of truck cranes would be exported to South America.

Different from previous batch exports, capacities of the truck cranes to be exported this time are all over a hundred tons. There are dozens of truck cranes with the largest tonnage in the world. It is the first time that China has exported hundred-tonnage high-end cranes in batch ever since the start of export of domestic-made cranes.

Industrial data indicates that, XCMG large-tonnage cranes have occupied over 60% of the domestic market share for ten successive years. In overseas market, however, the medium-tonnage truck crane with better price/quality potential stays in an advantageous position. Whereas, the batch export of large-tonnage truck cranes this time suggests that China is able to export not only regular cranes, but also the higher-end cranes, and is able to back up large-scale constructing projects in the world with high-quality products.
