XCMG: First Batch-Export of Large-tonnage Rotary Drilling Rigs to Ethiopia

Recently, 4 units of XRS1050 large-tonnage rotary drilling rigs are successfully exported to Ethiopia, the first time for the model to go abroad as well as to Africa market.
Located in Northeast Africa, Ethiopia is a country of vast territory and dense population. Along with the socio-economic developments, acceleration of urbanization and infrastructure construction in the country, Ethiopia’s demand for drilling rigs is also on the rise accordingly. Newly developed by Xugong Foundation Construction Machinery Co. (Xugong Foundation), the key components used on XRS1050 large-tonnage rotary drilling rigs, such as the engine and reduction gearbox, are all domestic and international brand name products with superstrong stability and highly efficient operational performance. Up to date, Xugong Foundation’s rotary drilling rigs have been exported to numerous countries in Asia, Europe and South America, having won widespread acclaim from clients abroad.
