Recently National Inspection and Quarantine Credit Grade AA Enterprises & Industry Quality Integrity Enterprises Recognition Conference was held in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing. Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) was awarded the title of "Highest Export Inspection and Quarantine Credit Rating Grade AA Enterprise".
At the end of last year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine decided to, on top of the four credit grades of A, B, C and D for the import and export enterprises, add the highest credit rating of AA grade to enterprises with the highest integrity, introducing more incentives to enterprises that will enjoy convenience and benefits by maintaining integrity and law-abiding practices. The benefits include convenient customs clearance, such as, access to the green channel, straight customs clearance; priority in going through procedures of import and export goods declaration, inspection and release; and making appointment for inspection on non-working days and holidays.
In 2011, XCMG's total exports reached US$1.08 billion, up by 16.7%. Obviously, its pace of globalization continues to accelerate. XCMG strictly follows the state laws and regulations; makes declaration and accepts product inspection and quarantine with accuracy; striving for zero-error declaration, and targeting at 100% inspection and quarantine passing rate each year. The conferring of the Grade AA Credit Rating by the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will further boost the efficiency of XCMG's import and export operations.
